Field of Dreams and Shawshank are two films I didn’t see in the theater when they came out. Now’s my chance.
To Kill A Mockingbird - - OMG, I have seen this film several times on TCM (and read the book) but had never seen it on the Big Screen until March and while the story always holds up it really does have more of an impact when you watch it with an audience.....Thank you.
I am looking forward to watch To Kill a Mockingbird.
Hopefully Lawrence of Arabia will be in 70mm
Went to Dyersville, Iowa during a road trip from California to Michigan and back a few years ago. We had been planning a cross country trip for at least a year, dubbing it as our Field of Dreams trip. Sat on the bleachers, ran around the bases, and disappeared in the corn field. Ben-Hur and Lawrence of Arabia are epic, and I love them, but Field of Dreams touches my heart.
GREAT LINEUP! CAN'T WAIT.
Wow!! Wizard of Oz has been my fav my whole life. I have a living room full of beautiful Oz momentos. Just added the gorgeous Hallmark ruby red slippers ornament to my collection. Got my fingers crossed.
Love the legendary Godfather movies Can't wait to see it on the big screen
1989 was a very good year at the movies.
