Aside from watch TCM, what do you do?

I'm currently a student at St. Norbert College in Wisconsin studying toward a double major in Political Science and History. Another thing which takes up a lot of my free time is running, since I am also on the SNC Cross Country and Track teams. I also spend a lot of my time singing at Festivals and Concerts across the U.S. and internationally, as I am a member of the Billboard Charting singing group, "Tre Principesse."

What’s your favorite movie snack?

I would definitely have to say popcorn, though it rarely lasts through the first ten minutes of the movie.

What’s your favorite part of TCM?

Probably the introductions the hosts make before and then after the movie. It's always great to hear more about some of the background details the hosts share with us, which then helps us viewers to better understand the movie and how it came together. I was able to meet Ben Mankiewicz a couple of years back, so that was definitely a cool experience.

What’s your favorite movie genre?

I'd say it would be a tie between Romantic Comedies and Musicals. Both genres are guaranteed to leave you in a great mood after watching them. Plus, the singing and dancing in classic Musicals are amazing to watch and make you want to get up and dance with them, though of course not nearly as well as they do.

Who’s your favorite actor or actress or filmmaker of all time? And why?

Though there are definitely many of them, if I have to pick one favorite I would probably choose Gary Cooper. Practically every role he took on seemed as if it was made just for him. Watching him as Sergeant York and Lou Gehrig always leave me with the feeling that no one else could have played those movie roles except for Cooper.

Who would you be thrilled to meet, and what would you say?

I would have loved to have been able to meet Cary Grant. I would have asked him all about the different actors he was able to meet throughout his career, which actors he enjoyed working with the most and which movies he made were his favorites and why.

What do you collect?

My family would probably say that I collect VHS movies. I do indeed have hundreds and hundreds of them which I have collected over the years from different thrift shops. I choose to say that I am "preserving" them for future generations. Honestly, I just love classic movies so much that being able to own my own copies of them is like creating my own in-home archive.

If you had to pick just one, what would be your favorite movie?

12 Angry Men has been my favorite movie since the first time I watched it at about twelve years old. No matter how many times I re-watch 12 Angry Men, it always seems like the first time. I'm completely drawn into the debate between the jury members, as each of them plays their character so well. Henry Fonda and the rest of the actors were cast perfectly for their roles.

12 Angry Men captures my attention ech time it is aired. The ultimate example of mob mentality and how to break it.

It's great to see us young folks enjoying historic cinema. Like you, I would have loved to have met Cary Grant. He was a heartthrob of mine when I was 18. I was definitely born in the wrong generation. Props to you on your busy schedule. I'll follow you on Twitter. Ciao!

This film was a tutorial for a business training course called "The Management Grid" The point was that different jurors demonstrated styles of management, e.g., tough demanding, reasonable, considers others, weak or indecisive.

Great choices! I can never not watch 12 Angry Men. Such great acting and I love those claustrophobic films. The characters are so diverse and I really get the feeling that each actor really took the time to study their character's backstory or create one. Fantastic film.
