Aside from watch TCM, what do you do?

I'm a 20th century vintage moderne design dealer, collector & curator of art, artifacts, photography and furnishings.

What’s your favorite movie snack?

Various forms of popped corn: kettle, caramel and classic.

What’s your favorite part of TCM?

Of course classic movies! Uncut wonderful and original without commercials as well as great hosts, a wonderful app and special features & events.

I have TCM airing on a small TV in my family room 24/7, 365 days a year as a tribute to my late parents and the movies we enjoyed together.

What’s your favorite movie genre?

It’s a toss up depending on circumstances & mood: Biography/Documentary & shorts. Fantasy. Film Noir, Horror, Musical. Mystery, Sci-Fi.

Who’s your favorite actor or actress or filmmaker of all time? And why?

I have very eclectic taste.

Mostly anything directed by Orson Wells, Hitchcock, Fritz Lang. Art films like Murnau's Nosferatu, Cocteau's Beauty and the Beast and  Bergman’s Wild Strawberries or The Seventh Seal.

Crazy surrealist adventures by Federico Fellini, Martin Scorsese or Euro beat and New Wave generation movies. Classic horror by Hammer or Castle as well as film noir classics, science fiction, Busby Berkeley musicals and silent or comedy classics by the Marx Brothers, Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin and Laurel and Hardy.

Who would you be thrilled to meet, and what would you say?

I actually had the opportunity to meet Katharine Hepburn while in NYC at the Neighborhood Playhouse. After I pinched myself I said hello, nice to see you and thank you for all your wonderful performances.

What do you collect?

When I'm not busy researching, cultivating, restoring or selling, I like to haunt vintage boutiques, estate sales, galleries and antique shops for anything from art nouveau, mission arts and crafts, Art Deco, jazz and machine age to mid-century moderne relics and artifacts. I also have a pretty nice collection of movie posters and stills.

If you had to pick just one, what would be your favorite movie?

I can’t do it... Metropolis. Citizen Kane. The Wizard of Oz. Sunset Boulevard. North by Northwest. La Dolce Vita. Wild Strawberries.
