Aside from watch TCM, what do you do?

I am a Cloud-based platform Administrator and Business Intelligence analyst for a global company. Think of a nerd with a pompadour, Mary Jane pumps, and a pettycoat.

What’s your favorite movie snack?

Fresh air popped popcorn with butter, Cherry Coke, and a box of Snow Caps. If it is a double-feature add a box of Mike and Ike's.

What’s your favorite part of TCM?

The wide range of classic film genres, decades, and the quality of historical information provided by the hosts.

What’s your favorite movie genre?

Western, War, Comedy, Adventure, Mobster, Classic 40s and 50s horror, and Romantic Comedies. Who are we kidding? I like them all but I must admit I am biased to the point of it being 98% pre-1970s, 1.5% 1970-1990, and .5% anything made after 1990.

Who’s your favorite actor or actress or filmmaker of all time? And why?

That is like asking a parent who their favorite child is. They will all say that they love them equally but deep down we all know that there are ones that they would like to live with in old age more than others. The two that stand out the most for me are John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara... and a few others such as Jimmy Stewart, Walter Matthau, Jack Lemon, Bob Hope, Doris Day, Esther Williams, and so on. Because they were the best at what they did and will never be duplicated or matched. Movies are an art and they were artists in their own specific signature way.

Who would you be thrilled to meet, and what would you say?

John Wayne and Bob Hope. I would ask Mr. Wayne if he wanted to go horseback riding and Mr. Hope to just talk about his WW2 tours around the fighting theaters and globe. The two of them could probably swap some good stories while I sit and soak it up.

What do you collect?

Made in Occupied Japan (40s and 50s) figurines, antique books, and vintage/Pre-1960s souvenir state plates. Stepping into my house and life is like Michael J. Fox stepping into 1955, even down to the wind up wrist watch and '53 Seeburg jukebox.

If you had to pick just one, what would be your favorite movie?

McClintock! and Donovan's Reef. Sorry, I cannot pick just one. That is like asking someone to pick just one ice cream for the rest of their life. I probably have watched them every month for over a decade. I love both more and more and always notice something new.
