Aside from watch TCM, what do you do?

By trade, I work in Knowledge Management. I just started a new job a few weeks ago for a large global company.  I always wanted to work for TCM - I'd do anything within TCM. It's the company I aspire to work for.  I love to travel, and I love to watch classic films.  I also love to visit Disney World.

What’s your favorite movie snack?

What’s your favorite part of TCM?

OMG - TCM is my dream come true. When I was growing up, I could only dream of a channel that played uncut, commercial free classic films. Before TCM, I spent a lot of time trying to tape them. I love Summer Under the Stars every year, focusing on one person a day.  You get to see quite a few films that don't air often on TCM.

What’s your favorite movie genre?

I thought hard and long about this one and finally came to the conclusion that it's not a genre, but a type of film. I call them the Love Couples. Back during the Golden Age of Hollywood, stars were tied to a specific studio, and if they did well together, they made more than one film together. They were love couples. In fact, the movie that got me into all classic films was A Song is Born with Danny Kaye and Virginia Mayo.   And from that, I adore the Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers, Jeanette MacDonald/Nelson Eddy, Myrna Loy/Willliam Powell, Claudette Colbert/Fred MacMurray, Claudette Colbert/Ray Milland, Greer Garson/Walter Pidgeon and June Allyson/Van Johnson films. These love couples were dynamite together. Their films were magical.

Who’s your favorite actor or actress or filmmaker of all time? And why?

Please see above. I adore the Love Couples. The other person I love is Barbra Streisand (I've seen her in concert three times!).

Who would you be thrilled to meet, and what would you say?

I was able to meet Ginger Rogers while I was living in Los Angeles in the early 1990s. I went to her book signing at the Beverly Center. I told her exactly what I would say if I ever met her: "I want to thank you for all the hours of joy you gave me watching your films. I wanted to let you know that you got me through my teen years with those movies, and I'll I always be grateful." She thanked me for those words.  I got to have my picture taken with her.

What do you collect?

I have many books about the golden years of Hollywood (the Films of... collection, the Pyramid books, the books you see in the photo). I have plates with movie stars on them. I also have autographs and glossies.

If you had to pick just one, what would be your favorite movie?

I can't... I just can't. I'll let my DVR speak: I've got all the Astaire/Rogers films and all of the MacDonald/Eddy films stored on there.
