Aside from watch TCM, what do you do?

Aside from TCM, I work in advertising as a social media strategist and moonlight as a cupcake artist/bartender.

What’s your favorite movie snack?

Caramel corn from the Varsity Theater. It's a great indie movie theater within walking distance from my apartment and the old woman who runs the snack counter makes this caramel corn homemade and sells it in little ziplock baggies. So good!

What’s your favorite part of TCM?

My favorite part of TCM is learning from Robert Osborne and Ben Mankiewicz. The history and the "why/how" behind film has always fascinated me.

What’s your favorite movie genre?

Romantic comedy, followed very closely by musical

Who’s your favorite actor or actress or filmmaker of all time? And why?

Favorite actor is definitely Gene Kelly. The most incredible part about him is that he made dancing seem like the manliest thing in the world. Watching Gene Kelly dance is truly a show of incredibly genuine masculinity, which is a true indication of his vast talent.

Who would you be thrilled to meet, and what would you say?

I would be thrilled to meet Edith Head (if we're allowed to pick people who have passed). Her vision and style shaped a whole generation of movies and movie stars, and I think I would just thank her for her genius.

What do you collect?

I collect pins and wear them on my leather jacket (yay for Backlot pins!).

If you had to pick just one, what would be your favorite movie?

White Christmas, no question. I have such fond memories of this movie, because it's the one thing my whole family can sit down and enjoy no matter where we are in our lives.

Thank you Grace!  For being in our Member Spotlight, we're sending you a collection of TCM pins, including a rare Backlot pin prototype that was produced in a "screen print" style.  Wear it with pride!  Or keep it locked away in a vault.  Totally your call.

Gene was an amazing dancer & athlete. I have a huge bromance for him.Good pick! I can watch him all day. My wife loves him too, so we have that in common. I collect pins also. Mine are mostly Hard Rock pins from everywhere I have traveled. I made exception in one of my pin cases to put the TCM Backlot pin right next to guitars from San Francisco, Sydney, and Berlin. Pins and movies are fun. I am looking at some of the Noir Alley Pins. Probably pick some up at Noir City this year.

My sister and I grew up singing SISTERS...not as good as Clooney, Vera, Crosby and Kaye. Still watch it every Christmas!

Just finished "Design for Dying" by Renee Patrick and a main character is Edith Head!Adore "White Christmas" and could watch it over and over through the holidays. I have a crush on the featured dancer John Bracia.  He was spectacular!
